Privacy Policy — Readitation

Readitation does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. No accounts. No servers. No telemetry. No analytics. No third-party SDKs.

What stays on your device

The app uses iOS’s built-in user-preferences storage (NSUserDefaults, accessed via the Flutter shared_preferences library) to remember:

• Your last-read position in each text.
• Your preferred reading speed (WPM).
• Your display preferences (word color, progression mode, verse-number visibility, calibrated default WPM from onboarding).

This information never leaves your device. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup, and no opt-out — because there is nothing to opt out of.

What Readitation does not do

• Does not collect any personal information.
• Does not track you across apps or websites.
• Does not show ads.
• Does not include analytics or crash reporting.
• Does not use any third-party SDKs that could collect data.
• Does not have user accounts or sign-in.
• Does not make network requests during normal use. The bundled content ships inside the app; nothing is fetched at runtime.

Content

The bundled Bible text is the World English Bible (WEB), a public-domain translation maintained by eBible.org. It is shipped inside the app binary and is never downloaded over the network during use.

Children

Readitation does not collect any data from any user, including children. The app does not distinguish between adult and child users because no user-identifying data is processed at any point.

Changes

If a future version of Readitation introduces any data collection (for example, opt-in cloud sync or account-based features), this policy will be updated and the change will be summarized in the App Store release notes for that version. Past versions of the app will continue to operate as described here.
